I've been here twice before and I've really liked this restaurant . Not only for their food but for the amazing location and ambience. It really is a hidden Parisian gem in Delhi, perfect for a date or family outing. But I ate here recently and was thoroughly disappointed :(
I met my sister for dinner and it was just the 2 of us on a Monday night. Being a Monday I didn't expect it to be busy since I work in the hospitality industry and plus we liked the space to ourselves but it was sad. Firstly, the AC wasn't working at all. I'm sorry but we live in Delhi and it is bloody hot in April and you need to get your AC repaired if it can't withhold the Delhi heat.
My sister and I ordered the 'pan seared Tilapia (fish) with coriander risotto and greens' and the 'pesto chicken roulade' respectively.
We asked for the fish with pesto sauce but the dish was bland and it lacked salt. We asked for extra lemon and pesto sauce, which took 5 minutes to come even though we were the only ones in the restaurant and it really did nothing for the dish.
I don't even want to describe the chicken roulade. The chicken was tough and the sauce was flavourless. I could hardly taste the pesto and the vegetables had no seasoning whatsoever. The only good things were the rye bread that came in the beginning and the pinot noir red wine. The food, ambience, service were not up to mark and definitely not worth the money we paid. I don't like writing bad reviews but this is sad but true.
You have a great location and a good menu and I wish you could live up to the standards you have surrounding you.
Madagascar vanilla pannacotta with seasonal fruit compote, berries coulis, Valrohna dark chocolate fondant. Both thte desserts were good, not great.
