MEAT AND LEGUME CUTLET

This is one of my favourite dinners:

MEAT CUTLETS
INGREDIENTS:
~100 gms udad/yellow daal
~200 gm minced meat
~4 crushed garlic cloves
~1 inch peeled ginger
~2 onions chopped roughly
~2 sticks of cinnamon
~4-5 black cardamoms
~4-5 green cardamoms


RECIPE:
~Put everything in a pressure cooker and cook for 2 hours
~Blend everything in a mixie till its mushy and fine. Add 1 egg to bind it together.
~Make small balls and press them flat.
~Pan fry in a little oil for 2 minutes on each side till its gets a nice brown colour


​CREAMY DAHI DIP
~ Hang 1 box of curd over night. Add chopped garlic, oregano, salt pepper, mustard powder, chili flakes, thyme, rosemary (basically any sort of flavoring you want to give) and beat well. In case you want it a little liquidy you can add milk or just don’t hang the dahi for more than 1-2 hrs.
